For the fourth time Zenit wins the Russian Super Cup

In the first game of the 2016/17 season, the St. Petersburg team wins the “Lokomotiv” stadium against CSKA Moscow. For the fourth time in club history, Zenit became the winner of the Super Cup.

To date, in 2008 and 2015, Zenit won the Super Cup against Lokomotiv and in 2011 against CSKA.

In addition, in 1985 the Zenit won the equivalent of the Soviet Super Cup tournament – the Cup of the season.
